Co organized by The European-American Global Forum (previously the French-American Global Forum) and the European Union Delegation to the United Nations in partnership with Foreign Affairs and Le Monde Diplomatique, EU@UN-Forum is a new program of symposia focussing on the partnership between the EU and the UN on the world stage. The symposia will unite numerous international figures from civil society, diplomatic, political and academic worlds under the leadership of experts from media and think tanks. EU@UN-Forum is dedicated to examining the challenges that face the European Union, United Nations and international community, in order to formulate pertinent reflections about the new global order that is taking shape.
In September 2016, under the coordination of Romuald Sciora, Le Monde Diplomatique will publish a special issue on the work of EU@UN-Forum. During the fall of 2016, Foreign Affairs will publish, also in coordination with Romuald Sciora, a special edition dedicated to the work of the EU with the UN and on the world stage.
The first EU/US Forum, a three-day symposium organized by The European-American Global Forum and focussing on the partnership between the European Union and the United States will be held in Washington DC, in Winter 2017, at the European Union Delegation to the United States.
